The Start of Something Great
Those of you who know me really well will know that I’ve been toying with an idea for a while - and that’s a blogging network. But not just any blogging network, a Christian blogging network. I’ve been toying with the idea in my head for quite a while now, and I had some time and a few extra bucks in my paypal account, so I started the groundbreaking earlier this afternoon.
I’ll start off by saying what this network isn’t going to be: weak. I’m not here to create just another blog network, I’m here to change the world. There aren’t that many (note: 0) christian blogging networks. There are a few christian blogs, I’m not going to lie. But the problem is that none of them work together. We are part of the body of christ. We are instructed to work together, and I don’t see why the few Christian bloggers that are around can’t.
What reasoning do I have behind starting the network? It’s simple. No one is standing up for what they really believe, and Christianity is taking a hit for it. People say things that aren’t true or are misinformed, and others believe them. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
So what am I going to do? How are things going to proceed? I don’t really know right now. But I do know one thing, and that’s that this is going to succeed. I’ve had trouble really understanding what my purpose on the internet is, but I really feel this is my calling. So, to answer the question, this is what I’m going to do: pray. I’m going to let God guide me, and I’m going to let his power and his glory shine through this network.
