My involvement in the Wordpress Community
My involvement in the WordPress community has been dwindling over the past few months. With school and all, I just got too busy to do anything. Anyway, here’s a few small updates.
Minimalistic Blue
No, I haven’t forgotten about Minimalistic Blue. The theme, small and pretty as it was, was lacking. I really believe that it has something - but the problem is, that it’s not my best work. I’m going to be starting from scratch and using Sandbox, entering my theme in the design competition. If anyone would like the template, I can offer it for download. But, as far as I’m concerned, it needs to be retired. It’s lacking widget support and there are more than a few bugs. The stylesheet and markup are also behind the times. More on that later.
Plugins
I’m also going to be entering in the WTC plugin competition. I’m not going to announce just what I’ll be entering for the sake of vapourware, but I’ll say that it’s something a great many people have requested. I think it will find its place somewhere.
WordCamp
I’ll be at WordCamp this year. I’m hoping to speak at one or two sessions, and I’ve got something up my sleeve that I’ll be announcing there. I’m trying to plan a Sunday Morning mini-service somewhere in the city, but that has yet to materialize.
There’s so much more I want to talk about, but I just can’t say much right now. But this summer my involvement with the wordpress community is going to pick back up, and I can’t wait.

Scott had a thought ¬
Rock on. It’s your own little summer of code for WordPress.
