Love Never Fails
Despite the lies that you’re making, your love is mine for the taking, my love will turn your tears into roses.- Skillet, Whispers in the Dark
God’s love never fails. And it’s kind of funny, just as skillet says. Despite every lie we make, we’re his. His love never fails, never has and never will. Never. And not many people understand that, even Christians.
What does never mean, then? Never. It can’t stop. He doesn’t have boundaries. He created time. And then he said, “I’m going to love them beyond time”. His love will never fail us. Paul says it in a great way.
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:37-39
Nothing in all creation can separate us. People have been beaten, murdered, tortured, and persecuted for what they believed. In most of the modern world, we don’t have that problem. But it still happens. People out there are dying, being tortured, and having horrendous things done to them. And they still believe. The love that Christ gave us, the promise for a “hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).
Some ask, Why? Why do people let this happen to them. But they simply don’t understand.
Christianity isn’t a religion. I hate when people call it that. It’s more, it’s a relationship. It’s a relationship with Christ. It’s personal. He knows us better than anyone. And he saved us because he loved us.
I’m just curious - What do you believe, and why?

Ranjani had a thought ¬
Christianity is a religion in the grand scheme of things, and a religion is faith, and faith is a relationship. But directly, no, Christianity is still a religion, especially for people who have other religions, i.e., me.
Faith’s interesting though. I’m kind of multiple-personality when it comes to faith.
