First Post
Writing a first post isn’t an easy thing to do. I should know. I’ve been in this position before. Domain after domain, platform after platform, topic after topic. But one thing is for sure: I can’t seem to stop. I love blogging, I love the open-source community, and I love the people behind it.
The average timespan of my past blogs has been varied, but I’ve got a new challenge for myself: blog for one year, and have at least one post a day. I want to have consistency in my posts.
Content is going to be different this time along, seriously. You could see the decline of posts in my old blog. As my personal problems grew, the quality of posts got really deep, and eventually just got to the point where even I was getting sick of reading it. Eventually, I just got so sick of it that I completely dropped it.
Now, some of you might be wondering: What in the world does Deus Excelsior mean? Long story short, I’m a latin nerd. I had an obsession with “Excelsior”; I couldn’t get my mind off of it. Excelsior means “ever higher” in Latin. Deus, of course means “God”. I put the two together, and well, here I am.
I hope you guys enjoy what I’ve put together so far. I’m liking this blog.txt theme, and I think it’s going to stay. Here’s to blogging again.
