8 Random Facts
While I was suffering in the 9th level of hell with my homeboys Judas Iscariot and Brutus, in addition to accidentally overdosing on marvelous things, apparently Conner Downey tagged me. Being one for a good post, I happily accepted. Here, without further ado, are 8 random things about me.
I’m a Wordpress Geek.
I’ve always had an obsession with Wordpress. I don’t remember how I got involved initially, but, to say the least, I love using Wordpress. I love the people behind the software, the software itself, and the culture that it has made. I organize meetups in the bay area and attended WordCamp last year and will be attending this year as well.
I’m a Christian.
I am a Christian, and I don’t try to hide it. I’ve made a few enemies because of it, but, seriously. If someone doesn’t stand up for what they think is right, they don’t believe in it. I’m not going to hide the fact that I believe in God. Never. I try to set an example because of other people that haven’t in my life, and the fact that as a Christian, I am expected to. But I’m not perfect; no one on this earth is.
I’m an Apple fanboy.
I have been an Apple fanboy for the past six years now. I have this saying that I tell all of my friends: “I’m a fan of overpriced hardware”. Even though the good side of me tells me I should use linux and stop wasting my money, I just find the Apple store hard to resist. Currently, I own a Black MacBook and a PowerMac G5.
I freelance.
I’ve slowly started to try to get myself freelancing more. I came to the conclusion a while ago that if people like what I do, that I should do something with it. It’s not all about the money, though. Web Design is my passion and my obsession. (The artwork is the logo of my design company, more on that soon).
I live in Silicon Valley
If it isn’t blatently obvious, I do live in Silicon Valley. I was born and raised here, and I’ve lived here all of my life. I’m very lucky to have landed here, of all the places. The picture was taken from my High School at night. You can see most of East San Jose, along with some of South San Jose.
I dress preppy.
I dress preppy. People call me a poser and a sell-out. But, as always, I beg to differ. I really think that presenting myself properly and looking good makes an impression on people.
I have an obsession with Mustangs
Ever since I was little, I’ve always had an obsession with Mustangs (or, as
teh old fart refers to them as, “Crustangs”). I don’t know what it is about them, but despite their reputation for falling apart, I wouldn’t trade one for anything. I want to eventually buy one, but the price tag is a little, well, high.
I love The Ocean.
I’m obsessed with the ocean. If there’s one place I love, it’s the beach. I try to go as often as I can. It’s the one place I find peace and inspiration. There’s just so much beauty in the beach, it’s really unexplainable. I used to live in what you would call a surfer town, and I really want to live in Santa Cruz when I get older.

Interesting. I knew some of these things, from my stay in the IRC channel, but the ones that I didn’t know were interesting. You took the post to the next level by adding images and longer descriptions, so props on that.
Also, it was hard finding people to tag, so I imagine you don’t want to try to think of who would want to be tagged, which I understand.

The 9th level of Hell, you silly! I’m sure you knew that, but still, Judas and Brutus are in the 9th. Pick other people for the 10th if you want to make it up.
